Change is Good......isn't it?

She's been hanging over my head for quite some time. She has literally been hanging over BOTH of OUR heads.

Yes, she's been hanging on our bedroom wall, imploring me to pay attention to her. She's just one of MANY, looking down on us, since my studio walls have become so crowded with works in progress. Our bedroom has become a de facto gallery of waiting faces.......

Sorry, Tasha. Been kinda busy, sweetheart. But now it's your turn.

I was happy with much of the structure of this painting but not so crazy about the cool green undertones. So I've decided to warm her up, fix the weird blobs of ears I'd slapped on either side of her head but keep her intense gaze.

So I've made some changes but I'm just getting started. It's pretty saturated color-wise, excessive chroma all around, and I'll knock it back a bit when ti dries. Lots to do, but the change is indeed good.

The new colors add another dimension to the lovely portrait.

Work, work, work! Phewe! I'm glad I don't have to pick up after you, though I admit it would be a privilege...

Simply touched and mesmerized in the moment of colors and patterns! You are simply brilliant in capturing the best and yet the simplest expression with ease. Though not a big-big painter like u…but love painting and sketching...and hence loved your creativity! Your painting indeed inspires and aspires so much!

May God give you an empty canvas and you have an opportunity to draw and paint what ever you like to wish into you life and make it as full of colors and happiness like your paintings does :)
